U.S. JCI Senate :: File Repository RSS

In this section of our site we have documents you can download onto your own computer. Please note that meeting registration forms are buried a bit deeper than they were before: Forms (Registration, etc.) -> Registration Forms. Please contact our Webmaster if you have any problems finding things here.

BOD Reports

(10/5)

reportsReports from our officers, NVPs, appointees, and committee chairs for each Board of Directors meeting. We're going green, so these reports won't be printed and distributed at the BOD meetings any longer.

Those uploading files here should note that 1) Administrator approval is required before your file will be published for the world to see, so don't expect them to show up immediately, and 2) only PDF (Portable Document Format) files should be uploaded here. Please see the README_REPORTS.pdf file for instructions on how to convert files to PDF. PDF documents can be opened with the free Adobe Reader software; that's why we use them.

Also note that only certain people have permission to upload files to certain portions of this directory. So make sure to select the correct sub-category to submit to. For example, NVPs will upload their reports to the BOD Reports/NVPs directory.

Scholarship Application Forms

(0/22)
Applications for scholarship grants from the U.S. JCI Senate Foundation must come from high school students who are U.S. Citizens graduating from U.S. accredited schools. This may include state approved home school and state approved GED programs, cyber schools, and overseas U.S. approved schools.

The Foundation is a fully qualified, IRS approved 501(c)(3) foundation. Our IRS Tax ID Number is 38-2680101. All contributions to the Foundation are deductible for federal income and estate tax purposes.

From September to November of each year, each JCI Senate state organization (or foundation) distributes to schools and boards of education throughout their state the necessary application forms for determination of the recipients of  scholarship grants. The deadline for return of the completed application forms to the state chairperson is at his or her individual discretion, and can vary from as early as December 1st to as late as the following January 15th. The deadline is shown on each state's application cover page.

From these files, select the application form for the state in which the student applicant resides. Other than inserting the requested information, alterations to the form could result in the applicant being disqualified.

Beginning in 2010, applications are available as PDF forms only. To open and print them, you will need a fairly recent version of the free Adobe Reader (version 7 or above).

If your school's network firewall will not allow you to download a JCI Senate state's scholarship grant application from a web page, you should be able to use FTP (File Transfer Protocol) instead. Consult with your institution's IT staff on how to install and use an FTP client on your computer.

FTP client settings (using passive FTP mode):
Server: 67.18.40.226
User Name: grants@usjcisenate.org
Password: scholarship

Contact our Webmaster if you have any difficulty with these settings.

Again, please note: It is vital that you obtain the scholarship grant application for the state IN WHICH THE APPLICANT RESIDES!! Where the applicant plans to attend college or vocational school is irrelevant.

Applications for the 2010-2011 school year will be removed from this list once their submission deadlines have passed.
