Hello JCI Senators!

My name is Tracy Taylor, and I am honored and proud to serve as the 55th Iowa JCI Senate President for 2026–27.

Everyone joins the Jaycees for different reasons. I joined the Waverly (IA) Jaycees in 1991 to meet people my age and give back to my community. The leadership skills I gained through various projects, leadership positions, and the relationships I have built over the years have been invaluable, both personally and professionally. After serving in numerous local, regional, and state offices—including as the 74th Iowa Jaycee President in 2002—I was honored to receive Senator #66603 in 2006.

On a personal note, my wife Angie Taylor (#71600) and I are currently in the process of relocating to York, Nebraska. As many of you know, Angie served as the 2019–20 Iowa JCI Senate President. While the decision to relocate was a difficult one for both of us, it was the right move for my career. I currently serve as Senior Vice President of York State Bank.

Our theme for the coming year is TEAM Xtreme². TEAM stands for “Together Everyone Achieves More.” This theme builds on the Team Xtreme theme from my year as the 74th Iowa Jaycee President in 2002. Today, that message is more relevant than ever. The Senate’s role as a dependable resource and partner to JCI Iowa.

Over the next year, I encourage all JCI Senators to focus on:
• Reconnecting with and engaging inactive Senators.
• Activating and involving newer Senators.
• Identifying and encouraging past and current Jaycees to become Senators.

By working together, we can strengthen our organization, support the next generation of leaders, and continue the proud tradition of service that defines the JCI Senate.

I am excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to serving as the 55th Iowa JCI Senate President during the coming year.
